Honourable Funani Jerry Maseko:

He was activist of South African youth Congtress in anti-apartheid student politics while training as a teacher in the mid 80’s, and in the 1990s.

He was part of the first ANC Youth League leaders to establish structures of the Youth legue in the province. He was the 1st Regional secretary of the ANCYL east region ( now Sekhukhune) in the early 90’s.
He then ascended to provincial leadership of the African National Congress Youth League as
Treasurer in 1998.He is the former chairperson ANC of Tubatse Subregion.

Served as a councillor and Chief Whip under Sekhukhune District Municipality from 2000 to 2011.He is a former Parliamentary officer:
Department of Roads and transport and community safety.

Did a lot of administration work as a manger of conflict Management and as manager of fleet management
He was the Deputy chairperson of NEHAWU Road and Transport branch 2008 -2013.He was also active in the Sekhukhune regional branch of the
ANC, and he was elected as its Regional Secretary in 2014 and re-elected in 2017.

Honourable Jerry Maseko has been a Member of the Limpopo Provincial Legislature from 2019 and
served in the following portfolio committee; Sports Arts and culture, SCOPA, CGHSTA, Social
development and was Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Agriculture during the 6th administration.
