DSAC Celebrates Mandela Day Through Library Awareness Campaign in Makhado Municipality

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture with join South Africans and the international community in honouring the former State President and the international icon Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. The Department will spend its 67 minutes cleaning Mukondeni Community Library as part of the departmental library awareness. DSAC Delivers a Multi-Million Library to Mutale Community in Celebration of Africa Day on Sunday 25/05/14

Limpopo MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Mme Nandi Ndalane will officially open a multi-million community library in Mutale Municipality, Vhembe District and hand-over sporting equipment for sport development in the area as part of Africa day celebration. Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the 1963 founding of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), presently recognized as the African Union (AU).

Limpopo Celebrates Freedom Day

Limpopo Province will join the rest of the country in celebrating 20th Freedom Day Celebration 2014, under the theme "South Africa - a Better Place to live In". 27 April in South Africa commemorates the day in 1994 when the first democratic election was held. Freedom Day is a memorable event throughout South Africa and each year the National Celebration forms the basis for conveying the message of unity in diversity for all.
